4 Stars Good images, thirsty printer
Our Canon printer produces great text and graphics with these ink tanks. Just brace yourself for the alarming rate at which you’ll consume these pricey but necessary items.
2 Stars Ink goes too quickly
The ink, and the printer it goes into, works ok. The problem is that the ink gets used up too quickly, so the lifetime cost of using this ink with an associated printer is VERY high. Even printing black text soaks up some of the other colors of ink. Buy a printer that uses this ink only if you have deep pockets.

The Canon branded ink tanks work much better than the cheaper imitations and refills. Happy with this product.

Amazon has the best prices on Canon ink cartridges around. Save yourself some time don’t bother looking anywhere else. Great prices and free shipping you can’t beat that combo. I have a Pixma 810 and use Canon paper and Canon ink for really dynamic results.

This is what is says — ink for your printer. It works perfectly. If you have a Canon printer, don’t mess around with any other ink than genuine Canon. Even if it’s a little more expensive, it’s worth it and your printer will thank you.

I am a low volume user and don’t see any upside to using ink from manufacturers I don’t know. A couple of bucks a year just isn’t worth it. I have bought a number of Canon ink cartridges and never had a problem.

If you use your Canon Pixma printer for photo printing, you might have observed that the color cartridges seem to drain fast. The engineers at Canon are aware of this and have helped resolve the problem. Instead of requiring a complete ink cartridge replacement, the cartridge was designed as 2 modules: cartridge transfer mechanism and an ink tank. This is the ink tank. It’s a refill for your ink cartridge and is an economical way of adding ink without having to pay for an entire cartridge. It’s a sensible alternative.

canon cartridges are good quality, but the addition of a chip to encourage you to buy more at a predetermined usage is very unwelcome.

I am thrilled with my buy. I have looked all over and found my best deal at Amazon.com much to my surprise. I have ordered ALL my colors from here and will continue to do so. Ebay offers refilled cartridges without the chip needed and say for YOU to replace them with your old ones, well why take the chance of screwing up your printer…spring for the REAL ones that are COMPLETE. Best buy….Amazon.

This ink prints black in a nice clear way. No problems with streaking, clogging or anything. Does the job well.
5 Stars CHEAPER than the local electronics or office supply store!
Can’t beat amazon for the Canon cartridges and they are the real thing not some substitute and I have ordered more than once so give it a try and with free shipping and no tax to most states it will save a bundle over time. Locally here in NYC they are $15 each or more. Sadly now Amazon has to charge us NYrs tax on things since some law was passed by the state. Anyhow try the canon from Amazon!
